So I rang my internet company a month before I moved, asking what the best way to move my connection was, with the smallest downtime (not being able to connect to the internet). They told me that I needed to ring a week before, and they would sort it out.
So I ring yesterday (8 days before) and get told that they can’t do it til the day we move, and it will be 10 days after that, that it will be connected. I told them that wasn’t good enough. The guy argued with me, and I said that I refused to believe that 10 days was the best he could do. I get him to get his manager to call me.
Speak to the manager today. Disconnect on Thursday (day we move so won’t be on anyway), reconnect Thursday (same day).
Mmmm…. same day vs 10 days….
