The kids and I went out geocaching today. First time ever. I figure this interest will incorporate my need to be a geek, along with the need to be outside and active.
Using a program I’d been told about for my Android C:geo (http://cgeo.carnero.cc/) we located the geocache we wanted to go for, and following the instructions searched and searched. Nothing. Ah well, no worries, we’ll try another one… So we drive to the next one, and then walk again. Lots of walking involved 🙂 Didn’t find it, but kids and I had a ball.
Mr S and I went out this evening searching again. We didn’t find the first one we looked for, but we did find the second and third! So much fun, and something very enjoyable to do.
I will be out doing this again!
