I’m really sad, and i need help. I don’t know what to do.
We recently finished the ‘new’ room for Master D. New paint, new curtains, and moved his bed and dresser in there. We’ve put up posters, and stuff.
We then moved Missy into his ‘old’ room.
Now he won’t sleep in his new room. I tried yesterday playing in there most of the day, to get him in there and liking it. I feed Missy on the bed in there while he played, so that he was in there.
He won’t sleep there on his own. This kid was great, he would hop into bed and asleep 2 mins later. Now he screams, and screams and screams. The light MUST be on, if i’m in the room he’ll go to sleep. Last night i decided to take the hard road (very hard for me) and let him cry it out. 3 hours later i was still picking him up, telling him it was bed time and taking him back. I was in tears almost as much as he was.So…. do I give up and just move him back to his old room? The new room is bigger and nicer, and being the older kid I wanted him to have it.
