Brickworks Cafe is in Whitford, so a little out of the way but really only a 10 minute drive from Howick.
The food and coffee were great and the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Whitford is away from the busy roads and busy shops of more central locations making it quiet and relaxing.
We had breakfast – I had the Brickhouse Brekkie (sausage, fried eggs, fresh bread, tomato, bacon) and my partner had the french toast (grapes, orange, kiwifruit, banana, bacon, fresh bread french toastand maple syrup). Both were excellent.
I suggest this as a great place for a quiet weekend breakfast or lunch.
