Walking slowly along the beach
the sand between my toes
the waves lapping at my feet
the wind gently caressing my hair
the night covering me in a cloak of love
it’s so peacefully quiet
I sit on the beach and think
the stars above winking at me
the lights reflecting off the shimmering water
gently watching over me
the moon streaming it’s golden love
across the sea onto my faee
as I watch in sweet delight
the workings of the world
