I have a girlfriend same sort of age as me, and is single, so she’s starting looking for men online.
I play her safety buddy, if she’s meeting a man at a bar or something, she’ll tell me where, what time, the phone number she has for him, and what time she’ll text me. She nips off and texts me at the time, so that i know she’s ok. If she doesn’t, then i can ring her, which can give her the out that she needs if she wants to be able to leave, a good excuse. If she doesn’t, then i can ring the cops or go and check on her myself. It’s been working well for her.
