Wow. We had a meltdown moment today. Master D woke from his nap, crying for mummy, and proceeded to keep crying for about an hour. He wouldn’t leave my lap, just cried and cried. Missy was needing a feed, and was crying, but I had to focus on Master D for a while. I tried to distract him with a bath, while X dealt with Missy, but that didn’t work, he wouldn’t stop cuddling me from the side of the bath. I was in tears at this point, as poor Missy really needed a feed now, and was screaming.
Finally X sidetracked him by taking him outside to paint, and Master D finally calmed down, so I was able to feed Missy.
Wow. I knew this would be tough, but man, this afternoon was really unpleasant.
