Today started off with a sleep in. Ahhh.

Breakky had been made, and was on the table. Bacon, eggs, baked beans, on toast.

Mr S, the girls and I went shopping. We got all sorts of stuff, from jeans and tops for Miss S, to PJs for K, and even some stuff for the kitchen.

We got a neat cat toy! He’s played with it a little bit.
And a planter box, that I’ve been wanting to do for a while, for herbs. I’m thinking chives, parsley, mint and coriander. Also got Miss S a pair of pink tights like she’s been asking for.
Finally a trip to the library. Each girl picked a book, and I got a book that I had ordered in. I will write a review once read.
And lastly, a night quiet evening at home playing Angry Birds. Sigh. I didn’t want to become one of ‘them’.
Our Saturday here across the pond is just beginning. Had a sleep-in (as much as possible with squirming 4yo and 7yo jockeying for position by mommy), coffee in bed (brought home by Mr. McAwesome from Tim Hortons), and chit-chat connection time w/Mr. McAwesome. Checking the Googles (+ and -mail) now, then shower & on with the day . . . school shopping will probably be on the agenda.
