We’re all in the car the other day, and the kids are hyped up and making a lot of noise.
Mr S turns around, and very excitedly tells them about a song that he’s made up, and he’ll sing it for them so they can join in. They all go quiet and listen to him intently. He proceeds to ‘sing’ by making no noise at all, but swaying to ‘music’.
He then asks them all to join in.
Which they do. Several times. And ask to do it again.
Yes, that’s right, an entire car trip, of quiet. And they enjoyed it!
