Tripped on a rug this morning, and ended up landing on my stomach against the edge of a table. I was fine when it first happened, and then about 1/2 an hour later started cramping, and it was cramps in my lower back, just like labour with Master D. I called the midwife who said come in straight away. I called X who came and picked me up, and we went in to the hospital.
The first woman came in and tried for 10 mins to find a heartbeat, and couldn’t.
So then another lady came in and she tried for about 20 mins to find it, and she couldn’t.
45 mins later the specilaist came in, felt my tummy and found where the baby was lying, and 10 sec later had the heartbeat! It was the longest wait of my life!
I’m on bedrest basically for the weekend, he said that if i have bleeding to go in, otherwise i should be fine, that if something awful was going to happen because of it, it probably should have happened by now!
