Your Review

Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp) plays the Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

The story of a fine upstanding citizen influenced by grave injustice. After being falsely accused and severely punished he returns home to find all his dreams were in vain. His life is destroyed and he finds a new mission in life, encouraged by Mrs. Lovett.

Mrs Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter) plays the owner of a pie shop facing hard times. Her enterprising, ingenuitive, thrifty nature and unique problem solving skills allow her pie shop to prosper by working with Sweeney Todd.

This is an excellent movie. The gory/scary parts are not that scary but the whole story is full of suspense. Many questions come to me as I contemplate the fact that it is claimed to be a true story.
