The Smurfs only see their birth-smurf (Selfish Smurf) once a month, for 2 days. So on the weekend they go to their birth-smurf they are 
obviously excited.
As always, I go to school to pick up Boy Smurf on that Friday as well. Boy Smurf runs out, and gives Smurfette and I a big cuddle.
I look over at Shy Smurf‘s classroom, and see the birth-smurf’s new husband, Sucker Smurf, waiting for them.
Shy Smurf runs out, her face happy and eager to see her birth-smurf, she looks, she pauses, and I see the pain flash across her face. She loses her smile. She slowly plods towards Sucker Smurf.
Sigh.
