M was prem. I were told by several people that it would probably effect her development for her entire childhood. As a -9week old I quite believed what they said and for a couple of years saw that for myself.
By the time she was nine, I don’t think I do. She seems normal in every way. I don’t think anyone would ever guess she was born early.
How much of an effect has being prem had on your child’s growth and development?
